The aim of the SQR is to promote breeders, and their descendants, according to criteria, not only morphological (conformity to the breed), but also, and above all, health criteria, providing guarantees to future buyers. Breeders who have already spontaneously committed to a genetic quality approach can, through the qualification system, take full advantage of the efforts made in recent years. Indeed, many cats already have the elements allowing them to integrate the grid at high levels.
